The Gran Canaria Mobility Control Centre is a strategic infrastructure promoted by the Gran Canaria Island Council’s Single Transport Authority, with the aim of transforming mobility on the island.
The Control Centre coordinates, supervises and improves various key aspects of the island’s transport and mobility system.
Public Transport Management
We ensure compliance with operators’ contracts and concessions by monitoring service in real time and detecting deviations. We analyse operational data to propose improvements in routes, frequencies and territorial coverage.
Infrastructure Management
We coordinate stations, interchanges and transport-related elements. We assess their condition, plan improvements and act in coordination with the authorities responsible for roads and facilities.
Ticketing
We design and manage fare policies and tools to facilitate access to public transport. We oversee ticketing systems, ticket sales and validation, and encourage the use of transport through incentive measures.
Information for travellers
Contamos con un planificador de viajes avanzado para que las personas usuarias puedan consultar rutas, horarios, tiempos de espera y servicios en tiempo real, con un acceso claro y personalizado.
Innovation in mobility
The Centre promotes new transport models, smart mobility strategies and projects that encourage the use of clean technologies, shared mobility and energy efficiency in travel.
Mobility generates data. And at the Gran Canaria Mobility Control Centre, we believe that sharing this data in a transparent, accessible and organised manner is a key tool for improving decision-making, encouraging research and promoting a more informed and engaged citizenry.
